Walking out of the grocery store with Ashley.
Ashley: Mom, I say thank you a lot.
Mom: I know. You are very good to say that.
Ashley: There is one time I didn't say thank-you.
Mom: Oh
Ashley: When I was adopted.
Mom: Well, that was a hard time in your life. I am not so sure I would be so thankful either.
Ashley: But I was thankful.
Mom smiles
Ashley: Mom
Mom: Yea
Ashley: Thank you.
WOW!!! What a wonderful young lady you have there. I LOVE HER!!! And she does have a good Mom and Dad.

Isn't it funny how such signifcant moments can happen at times you least expect them?
I am so glad that Ashley said thanks because she just made me want to be more GRATEFUL!
It reminds me to say thank you for many things in my prayers tonight...it's funny how with many of our great blessings we forget to thank our Father until much later.
