The Devil Made Me Do It----The Devil Being Larry.

Well, they did ask us to upgrade to a convertible, but the car they wanted us to take was all beat up. We don't have a convertible. My mom said this looked like a Sherry car. I think that is why I was so attracted to it. It is bright yellow. I wish I could bring it home, but, it is snowing so I will leave it here. We saw this car at the Pineapple Plantation. I made Larry go to the Plantation yesterday because I saw a picture of this in an ad:


Whipped pineapple ice cream. Yummy. We also took a tour of the Plantation.





This tree has not been painted. It really grows with all these colors. It is very soft bark and is only used to make paper. It is beautiful.





Right by my left ear is a cocoa plant. I look a little stressed in this picture because they told me I couldn't eat the chocolate....Can you imagine someone telling ME I can't have chocolate!




We learned to plant a pineapple tree.


And each of us were able to plant one. She said you can plant your own pineapple tree at home. I wonder if she knows we have 12 inches of snow in Utah. Anyway, I may give it a try inside the house.




It really is a beautiful Plantation.

    I think the reason they let you plant your own pineapple is because it is cheap labor for them :)

    What a gig! Live on a plantation in Hawaii. Sit in the sun and wait for tourists to come. Have some plant some pineapple. Have others pick it. And charge them for it! Then sell them some frozen pineapple stuff that you shipped in from a chemical plant in Cleveland.

    Yes, I'm feeling cynical today as I watch the snow fall.

    How is soft serve pineapple ice cream? The best pineapple in the world comes fresh from Hawaii. It's like candy!!!
