When Larry and I certified to be foster/adopt parents they told us not to expect too much out of these kids. They did not know Ashley or her piano teacher Janet Goldsmith. Today Ashley played a piano solo for our Sacrament Meeting and Christmas program. She did great and I thought again about "What Child Is This?" What a big step in this little girls life. All credit goes to Ashley and this amazing piano teacher who would smooth out all of my short sided frustrations on trying to get Ashley to practice. I would get to the point of letting Ashley quit and Janet would not hear of it and would gently and lovingly re-group both of us and on again we would go for the next few months. Ashley loves to play now. She still does not like to practice, but she will play often. Thanks Janet and Thanks Ashley for being so incredible. I love you both.

I have enjoyed many of your concerts at home and please! keep it up. The longer you play the more enjoyable it will become!
